How Many Hats Do You Wear

Wearing Successful Hats

Pinto Ranch 1 003You can exude the metaphor of wearing different hats for success . As an entrepreneur, I wear many different hats. Three of my favorite expert hats are those of public relations guru, leadership and female success factors speaker.  I enjoy advising how to be public relations savvy and run more efficient and effective businesses.   Upcoming blogs will feature the research findings of my 2011 dissertation study that focused on the success factors of female small business owners. Readers of Ask Dr. Thiggy will benefit from my professional, practical and philosophical background.

In the blogs ahead, you can count on having interactive discussions to help you become more successful in your business endeavors. I will start with this first blog by sharing my personal mission statement.

I am a visionary. I will serve my organization’s needs. I will lead and be accountable; I will create, not destroy. I am a force for good. I am a force for God. I will give back to my community. Defy the odds. Set a new standard. Step Up.

So whatever hat you wear, make sure that your mission is to present your best self with that hat on. Of course, there will be hats that are too big or too small.  In that case, hire someone who wears that particular hat well. My cowgirl hat represents my pioneering spirit of exploration, entrepreneurship, and fearless ambition. I take this hat mentality into the boardroom and game room of life. Thigpen & Associates Public Relations can help you with your hats.
