ThigpenPR’s objective was to increase public awareness of many services and benefits offered by Huron Hospital – Cleveland Clinic Health System. Using opportunities such as Huron Hospital’s 125th Anniversary has heightened community awareness. In addition, ThigpenPR began an extensive campaign that included transit advertising, billboard signage and movie screen ads. These methods, coupled with print ads and direct mail pieces, have made Huron Hospital widely recognized in the community in addition to surrounding neighborhoods.
ThigpenPR created a brochure for the opening of a $3.7 million community health center, highlighting its 15 specialized clinics. The slogan created for the health care center “A good sign on the road to better health care,” to refer to the original Huron Road Hospital name still affectionately used by the community. The advertising campaign served to emphases Huron Hospital’s commitment to providing better health care, including an identity as a member of the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
